We work independently and well in any one of these areas, using the appropriate levels of primary and secondary research techniques to achieve clarity and insight.

However, we thrive (as do our clients) when working in an integrated manner across these disciplines.  For example, we are often asked to develop a Messaging System for a client, but find that the client first needs a comprehensive Brand Strategy from which the messages can derive.  Sometimes, we are asked to develop Brand Strategy, but actually first create a Strategic Plan in the absence of good strategic direction from which branding must also derive.  Sometimes, we are asked to create or revise Vision, Mission and Values and then take those formulations through Strategic Planning, Brand Strategy, Messaging, and Internal and External Communications processes.  So too, we are often called upon to diagnose and remedy possible organizational barriers to effective Strategic Plan, Brand and Message implementation or to capitalize on the organizational issues that enable strategy and communication.  Why create an excellent strategic plan if your structure, culture, policies, practices and even job descriptions discount it?

We work within our company and with partners to create plans, recommendations, media and materials that express a client’s strategic direction, brand strategy and messaging or make the case for capital acquisition and fundraising. 

Key to our success has been the use of proven facilitative techniques that bring management teams, boards, employees, customers and key stakeholders together for the purpose of clarifying and articulating a truly distinct and differentiated company, product, service or cause.
